"Comcast Dial-Up", or "Who Needs Packets Anyway?"

For a few weeks now I've been having trouble with my internet service. Every time I called, the rep told me that my problem was my router. Imagine that. Anyway, I finally tried it without the router to see what would happen. By this point I was on the phone with another rep and we were pinging websites. Not only was I losing most of my packets, but so was he. So he opened a service ticket and finally I hope I have a chance of better internet service.

Right now, as I write this post, my connection seems to be doing much better than it has been for some time. As such, my fingers are crossed.

Note to Comcast: Plllllleeeeeaaaaasssseeee get this resolved.
