By Way Of Introduction

At last. An opportunity to write to nobody and everybody.

My younger brother has introduced me to blogging. For so long I was reluctant to start one because for some reason I wanted to write things that would be read. You see, I like to write, but I can't expect everyone to want to read my stuff right away (or ever). Who knows, maybe one day I will end up writing a whole book, but for now I think this will be a fun way to organize my thoughts, and as Shaun says, sharpen my skills as a writer.

Shaun, my only younger brother, can be found here on blogger at Life of a Hacker. I'm sure that when I'm a little more blogger savvy I will be able to post his links and you will be able to experience his writing as well. My older brother, Byron, also has one but that will take a little while for me to find.

And now down to my introduction.

Right now my life is consumed in school. Mechanical Engineering at The University of Utah is keeping me very busy. I'm sure school related topics will be frequent among my postings. The other most important part of my life is my wife, Chelsea. At this first posting we have been married about one year and four months. I have to be honest when I say that she has a large part to play in the success of my life. Also, I am a member of the LDS faith and I'm sure that will influence my opinions, but please, don't dismiss my writings believing that they will be biased along church lines. You will find that I do not fit the mold, either of a typical man or a typical Mormon.
